IN2 Resourcing are working exclusively with a leading provider of PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm) systems to recruit a Pre-Sales Manager / Solutions Engineer who will play a key role in designing and delivering technically sound, commercially viable solutions.

This role focuses on Global transportation infrastructure (rail, tunnels, airports), ensuring solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.

Role Overview:

The Solution Manager will be the technical authority on PAVA systems, working closely with the sales and bid teams to develop winning proposals that align with client needs and regulatory requirements. This is a client-facing role requiring both technical expertise and commercial acumen to influence key stakeholders and secure business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the go-to expert for PAVA systems, supporting sales teams with technical knowledge and bid preparation.
  • Develop and deliver detailed system designs, quotations, and proposals for tenders.
  • Provide technical training and product updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry PAVA regulations and specifications for transportation projects.
  • Engage with strategic clients, consultants, and specifiers to influence requirements and supplier preference.
  • Research competitors and market trends to identify gaps and opportunities for solution enhancements.
  • Work closely with Product Management to stay updated on emerging PAVA technologies and
    solutions.
  • Manage bid processes and assist in commercial project management activities.
  • Create technical and commercial documentation such as presentations, application sheets, and system designs.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Strong PAVA system knowledge with a background in system design and implementation.
  • Technical expertise with a commercial mindset (engineering degree or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical support, bid support, or system-based project estimation.
  • Experience working with PAVA solutions for large-scale projects (rail, tunnels, airports).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience (Dynamics 365) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical approach.
  • Ability to travel across the UK and internationally as needed.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of IP-based audio and telecom systems (CCTV, Intercoms, Passenger Information Displays).
  • Experience with Visio and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of networking and IP-based communication systems.
