IN2 Team Member Profile

Russell is our MD and Founder and after a brief career as a Barristers Clerk, he kicked off his career in Recruitment in 1998, way back when Recruiters were still using Roller-Decks and sending CV's via fax machines!

Starting out as a teenager for one of London’s leading IT Recruitment Agencies, Russell honed his skills in pro-actively resourcing candidates with rare skill-sets, and worked through the Millenium IT boom, successfully delivering skilled talent into hundreds of contract and permanent roles. When becoming a fully-fledged IT Recruitment Consultant at the age of 21, it was the early candidate resourcing background that gave Russell the platform for a long and successful career, now spanning 25 years!

Russell has been running his own niche recruitment and search companies in the Technology and Construction sectors since 2004, and in his current role leading the IN2 Resoucing Group, he remains a Hands-on Recruiter, working on behalf of AV companies, SaaS vendors and Tech Start-ups across the EMEA, USA and APAC regions.

As the eldest in the office, Russell fends off persitant banter from his younger counterparts, whilst dishing out plenty in return! Having to work a little harder these days to keep fit and healthy, he can often be seen licking his lips at everyone else's lunch, especially Ben's which normally conists of something deep fried! 

Outside of work Russell loves spending time with his Wife and Children, socialising with Friends, the occasional game of golf, and supporting Crystal Palace in their yearly efforts to remain in the Premier league!
